Salutatorian of PMA Class 2012 is AYLC 2011 alumnus

Cadet 1Cl Jose Mari V. Cabrera from Urgello, Sambag, Cebu City graduated as Salutatorian of the 187-member Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 2012 which is dubbed as Batch BAGWIS (Bagong Kawal Nag-iisang Lakas) during the PMA graduation rites today, March 18, 2012.

Cabrera is an alumnus of the Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC) 2011.

He is 22 years old and received the Vice-Presidential Saber, the Air Force Professional Course Plaque, the JUSMAG Saber and the Philippine Air Force Saber.

JM to his friends at the PMA, but Baby Boy to his parents and three sisters at home, Cabrera plans to join the Air Force. Although after graduation, he will be leaving for the United States for further studies.

Cabrera was a second year accounting student at the University of San Jose-Recoletos when his mother talked him into taking the PMA entrance exam IQ test, just as a practice.

8. Cadet 1Cl Fel Balambao Saguin from Zamboanga del Sur
9. Cadet 1CL Rone Jo Ora Manganaan
10. Cadet 1Cl Christopher Cerbo Juan
The class is 187 strong with 168 male and 19 females. 102 will be joining the army, 37 will be joining the Philippine Air Force, while 48 will be joining the Philippine Navy.
