The National Youth Commission announced Wednesday the opening of applications for the 39th Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program or SSEAYP.
The Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP) is an annual cultural exchange program that started in 1974 as a joint statement between ASEAN member States and Japan. Participated by young people from these countries, the program’s objective is to promote friendship and mutual understanding among them and the local youth in their respective countries.
Now on its 39th year, SSEAYP has been instrumental in forging stronger relations among the youth of Southeast Asia and Japan.
Application forms for SSEAYP are available the NYC’s website – http://www.nyc.gov.ph. The application form with the requirements may be submitted through firstname.lastname@example.org on or before April 13, 2012.
